OCALA, FL—The catalogue for the 2025 Ocala Breeders’ Sales Company Spring Sale of Two-Year-Olds in Training is now available online at obssales.com.

The four-day sale will take place April 15-18 with each session beginning at 10:30 a.m. EDT.  Hips 1-302 will sell April 15 with Hips 303-604 going April 16. April 17 will offer Hips 605-906 with the sale concluding April 18 with Hips 907-1207.

The under-tack show will run from April 6-12 starting at 8 a.m. EDT each day. Hips 1-173 are slated for April 6 followed by Hips 174-346 April 7, Hips 347-519 April 8, and Hips 520-691 April 9. The final three days of the under-tack show will have Hips 692-863 going on April 10 followed by Hips 864-1035 April 11 and Hips 1036-1207 April 12.

The 2025 OBS Spring Sale also offers the entry option of “Gallop Only” where sellers can enter their horses with this designation which will be on the catalog page.

The under-tack show and sale will be streamed live via the OBS website.

Notable graduates out of the 2024 OBS Spring Sale include multiple Grade 1 winner-Chancer McPatrick, Grade 1-winner Tenma, Saudi Derby-winner Golden Vekoma, graded stakes-winners May Day Ready and Mo Plex, and recent Grade 3-winner Vixen. 

Cavalieri, winner of the Beholder Mile (G1) on March 8, is another notable OBS Spring Sale graduate having sold at the 2023 edition of the auction. 

Chancer McPatrick and Cogburn, both of whom were Eclipse Awards finalists in 2024, are featured on the Spring Sale catalogue cover.

Flanagan Racing’s Chancer McPatrick (McKinzie – Bernadreamy, by Bernardini) won three of four starts last year including the Hopeful (G1) and Champagne (G1) en route to becoming an Eclipse Awards finalist for champion 2-year-old male. Chancer McPatrick was purchased for $725,000 at the 2024 OBS Spring Sale of Two-Year-Olds in Training by Kimmel & Sallusto as agent from the consignment of Caliente Thoroughbreds after breezing a quarter in :21 flat.

Clark Brewster and William and Corinne Heiligbrodt’s Cogburn (Not This Time – In A Jif, by Saintly Look) is standing his first season at WinStar Farm and was an Eclipse Awards finalist for Champion Male Sprinter. The son of Not This Time won three of four starts last year with the highlight being his record-setting triumph in the Jaipur (G1) last June. Cogburn was purchased for $150,000 by Brewster at the 2021 OBS Spring Sale of Two-Year-Olds in Training from the Pick View consignment. A full brother to Cogburn sold for $650,000 to Katsumi Yoshida’s Northern Farm from the consignment of Hartley/DeRenzo Thoroughbreds LLC, agent at the 2025 OBS March Sale.

Featured on the Spring Sale catalogue back cover are Grade 1 winners Carson’s Run, Du Jour, Mixto, Power Squeeze, Raging Torrent, and Tenma.

West Point Thoroughbreds and Steven Bouchey’s millionaire Carson’s Run (Cupid – Hot N Hectic, by Henny Hughes), won three stakes in 2024 including the Saratoga Derby Invitational Stakes (G1) last August. The son of Cupid was purchased at the 2023 OBS Spring Sale for $170,000 out of the Randy Miles consignment after breezing an eighth in :10.20.

Natalie J. Baffert and Debbie Lanni’s Du Jour (Temple City – Guiltless, by Bernardini) became a millionaire after his two-length victory in the $300 000 Frank E. Kilroe Mile (G1) last March. The son of Temple City was purchased for $280,000 by Donato Lanni as agent from the Off the Hook consignment at the 2020 OBS Spring Sale after breezing in :10.20.

Calumet Farm’s Mixto (Good Magic – Musical Mystery, by Concerto) scored an upset in the $1 million Pacific Classic (G1) at Del Mar last summer. The son of Good Magic was purchased at the 2022 OBS Spring Sale by Calumet for $140,000 out of the Paul Sharp consignment after breezing in :10.40.

Lea Farms, LLC’s Power Squeeze (Union Rags – Callmethesqueeze, by Awesome Again) notched her first top-level victory and third graded stakes win when she scored in Saratoga’s $600,000 Alabama Stakes (G1) last August. Consigned by Halcyon Hammock Farms as agent, to the 2023 OBS Spring Sale, Power Squeeze was sold to her owners for $90,000 after breezing in :10.20.

Great Friends Stable and Mark Davis’ Raging Torrent (Maximus Mischief – Violent Wave, by Violence) earned his second graded stakes win and top career highlight when he prevailed in the $300,500 Malibu (G1) last December. The son of Maximus Mischief was consigned by Randy Bradshaw as agent, to the 2023 OBS Spring Sale and sold to Mark Davis for $75,000 after breezing in :10 flat.

Baoma Corp.’s Tenma (Nyquist – Amagansett, by Tapit) scored in the Del Mar Debutante (G1) and Starlet Stakes (G2) during her juvenile season. The daughter of Nyquist is now a leading contender on the Road to the Longines Kentucky Oaks (G1) following her six-and-a-half-length win in the $100,000 Las Virgenes (G3) at Santa Anita Park Feb. 2. She was purchased by Baoma for $850,000 out of the Wavertree Stables consignment at the 2024 OBS Spring Sale of Two-Year-Olds in Training after breezing an eighth in :9.80.
